This 17th-Century Estate Epitomizes Country Living
If we had the privilege of living on a 17th-century English estate, we can only dream it would look something like this elegant home. Australian-born former model Gael Boglione, her Italian husband, Francesco Boglione, and their four children reside in this magical home surrounded by incredible gardens and a river. The interior is a stunning fusion of English heritage and modern aesthetics, yet it's surprisingly minimal. In fact, "undecorating" was a key part of the makeover process. "I never thought of decorating it as such, it was more a question of undecorating it," she told Vogue Living. Boglione stripped the home of its busy color scheme and cleared the clutter so she had "more space around her." The result is refined elegance with a simplicity you'd expect in the country, and it's oh so pretty.
