Ali Larter’s cooking philosophy is simple: “Messy is better, always.” Larter demonstrates her affinity for all things messy—and absolutely scrumptious—on The Today Show when she makes her favorite buffalo chicken sliders with Gorgonzola slaw. "It’s all about having fun when you’re cooking, and I think you can taste it when you do,” says Larter. We’d have to agree. Those sliders look like a blast to make and eat. “I’m not scared of fingers,” says Larter as she digs into her sliders.

Ingredients for her all-time favorite tailgating dish include cabbage, celery, onion, a grainy mustard, apple cider vinegar, and some mayonnaise—“good mayo, no light stuff,” says Larter. If you don’t love a blue cheese, substitute with white cheddar. The best part of this recipe is that you can prep it the night before, and if you’re in a time crunch, you can use a rotisserie chicken and pre-chopped veggies for a record-breaking hot sandwich dish.

You'll need one of our favorite mixing bowls to enhance the fun of this delicious treat.
