There are two places that I shop for books: Coperfield’s, the local book shop in the small Northern California town that I grew up in, and Amazon, the online marketplace where everyone and their mother buy books. Thus, when I saw that Amazon had curated a list of the Editor’s Picks of 2015, I was naturally intrigued. The Editor’s Picks is divided into many categories, from the best books of the year to the top sellers to the most beloved books in each category, like cookbooks and science fiction. J.R Ward’s The Bourbon Kings  won the title of best romance while Paula Hawkins’s The Girl on the Train  won best mystery. Below are my top five books from all of the ones listed, but to check out the extensive curation, in case you’re in need of gift inspiration for the bookworm in your life, head to Amazon now. I highly recommend it!

Modern Romance  by Aziz Ansari

Blackout  by Sarah Hepola

My Kitchen Year  by Ruth Reichl

On the Burning Edge  by Kyle Dickman

Fates and Furies  by Lauren Groff

If you read before going to sleep, like I do, be sure that you have great lighting beside your bed.
