There have been whispers of a Spice Girls reunion for some time, but until now, members of the group had struggled to convince Victoria Beckham (aka Posh Spice) to join the cause. According to multiple reports, the designer has finally agreed to momentarily put her fashion career on hold to fulfill our '90s childhood dreams. Yes, it's happening: The Spice Girls are rejoining in 2018.

The Sun reports that all five members are on board for a reunion, which will include a TV special celebrating the pop icons. Glamour reports they'll also release a whole new album. "As it stands, they will be working together on a series of projects, which will include an album and a TV special celebrating the Spice Girls," a source says. "Getting Victoria to agree has been a coup for everyone involved, given she has always been the person holding back on a reunion."

Apparently, Mel C was the driving force behind the reunion. "Things between them were quite icy at the start of the year. But gradually the ice thawed, and Mel was the one who drove that. Mel's divorce battle also helped to bring them back together, as did the birth of Geri's son," a source close to the pop group revealed. The Spice Girls have yet to confirm plans for 2018, but we'll admit we're just a little bit excited.
