Tour the Modernist Home of Apparatus Studio’s Designers

Julia Millay Walsh

One of the biggest breakaway stars in the world of design over the past few years is Brooklyn-based lighting, furniture, and accessory brand Apparatus Studio. Launched in 2012 by creative director Gabriel Hendifar (who was later joined by his partner, Jeremy Anderson, who oversees production and operations), the brand has revived modernist design with current finishes and fresh forms. Apparatus’s products quickly became some of the most sought-after designs on the market, as well as focal points in some major hot spots like The Marlton and The Ludlow hotels in New York.

Needless to say when we came across Hendifar and Anderson’s modernist home in Park Slope, we let out an uncontrollable “Oooh!” The space is as beautiful as one might imagine, and though the brand’s designs are sprinkled throughout, it’s not just a showroom. The duo have created a truly captivating home with intriguing original art and gorgeous statement-making furniture and décor. Scroll below for a tour.
