Where to Find the Best Deals on Apple Products

Peter Dolkas

Let's face it: we're all addicted to our Apple products. Our iPhones are never out of reach, our laptops get us through the work day (and our Orange is the New Black binges), and our iPads are the new dog-eared cookbook. But little did we know the Apple store is actually the worst place to buy the must-have gadgets. Thanks to DealNews's latest article, we've learned which stores offer the best prices on our favorite tech gadgets. iPhone The first place to score a deal on an iPhone isn't actually a store, but a mobile carrier. Sprint accounts for 28 percent of the best iPhone deals, sometimes offering an iPhone 5s for free with a contract. Purchase an iPhone online with Sprint, and you'll most likely get free shipping as well. The runner up was the big-bad-box retailer Walmart, which often slashes prices of iPhones days after Apple releases them. However, many of Walmart's deals are only in-store, so you'll have to fight the crowds. iPad When shopping for the "It" tablet of the moment, head straight over to eBay. The online marketplace's merchants account for 37 percent of the best iPad deals and offer free shipping -- and you can do it all in your pajamas. We're loving iPads in the kitchen lately with more cooking magazines developing interactive apps. MacBook Air Finding the best discount on Apple's 11" MacBook Air is not as easy. MacConnection, Best Buy, and Amazon all compete for the top spot, but, in general Best Buy had the greatest discount on the last two models, slashing as much as $100 off the entry-level model price tag.
