Barneys New York's Chic New App Rethinks the Party Invite
Party etiquette is always changing. People are sending casual Facebook event invites one day and beautifully embossed throwbacks to the times of yore the next. Enter Connor Digital, Barneys New York's new app created with New York City–based luxury stationer and engraver Connor. "Perfect for the person who views time as a luxury and appreciates the elegance of a handwritten card or personalized note," the app allows users to select various cards, invitations, or personal notes and customize every detail. From there, you send your correspondences off into the digital world, where you can monitor RSVPs and communicate with guests and hosts. (Alternatively, Connor Digital can mail a card of your choice on your behalf.) A selection of options within the app are free, while special designs retail for $2. For digital invitations, a flat rate of $5 covers an event, regardless of the number of invites.
If you're a fan of the ease and convenience of Paperless Post but crave the stately grace and distinction of a classic invitation, Connor Digital's selection of bespoke-inspired gestures will be right up your alley.
The app is available on iPad, iPhone, and all personal computer systems. Check it out in the App Store, below.
