These Are the Best Places to Stay in America

Katie Sweeney

Planning a trip but not sure where to go? Might I recommend Provincetown, Massachusetts? This Cape Cod city has just been named the best spot to stay at in America by the Trivago Rating Index. Trivago is the world’s largest hotel search engine, and its team analyzed user reviews from 31 different booking sites. The team then used this information to determine which cities had the highest online ratings and dubbed them the best places to stay in 2016. San Francisco-based interior designer Ken Fulk has a vacation house in Provincetown, so the destination, Cape Cod’s most popular city, must be a beautiful and stylish place to visit. I bet there’s a great place for lobster rolls, too! Vail, Colorado, and Sedona, Arizona, came in as the No. 2 and No. 3 best places to stay, respectively—see the full list below.

  1. Provincetown, Massachusetts
  2. Vail, Colorado
  3. Sedona, Arizona
  4. Volcano, Hawaii
  5. Cape May, New Jersey
  6. Bar Harbor, Maine
  7. Lahaina, Hawaii
  8. Charleston, South Carolina
  9. Key West, Florida
  10. Naples, Florida

If you’re heading to Provincetown, pack your stuff in a classic, all-American boat tote bag.

Have you been to any of the cities on the list?
