The boho style is all about texture, so color is often kept to a few accents. In her living room, Alicia layered Moroccan rugs and blankets, tasseled pillows, sheepskin furs, and floor cushions, all in light and neutral shades.
Alicia layered her living room with pieces picked up from her travels, as well as unique items passed down from both her and her husband’s sides of the family. This gave their home a unique collected effect that could never have been achieved by buying everything new.
Make a small powder room appear larger by installing a wall-to-wall mirror. Then, style it with another decorative mirror layered on top. Yes, it’s possible to hang a mirror on another mirror. In fact, it’s a classic stylist secret!
Spruce up your guest room in a flash by using items from around the house to make it feel more layered and inviting. Pillows, blankets, plants and mirrors are great places to start to give your guests some extra attention.
