Cali Cool Meets Midcentury Design in This L.A. Home

Genevieve Fish

This Los Angeles home embodies our dream fusion of California chic with midcentury design. Fashion designer Rozae Nichols, the lead creative behind fashion line Clover Canyon, designed this neutral oasis for herself and her husband Ian Murrough. Each piece of décor comes from a different place or period, giving the tree house–like structure its signature uniqueness. We love the contradiction between the severe Florence Knoll slate-and-steel cocktail table and the warm living room rug from Marrakesh. The redwood cabinetry grounds the space in the California mountains, and who could ignore the pièce de résistance of all midcentury design—the Corbusier lounge chair in the library? We’re dreaming about cuddling up on the inviting outdoor daybed or diving off the tree-lined pool deck.  Scroll through to see this one-of-a-kind home that we can’t stop lusting after.
