Hold Up: You Can Fly to the Caribbean for Just $59 (but You Have to Act Fast)
The best antidote for a busy life is a weeklong beach retreat in the Caribbean, right? Bonus points if you can make it happen for just over $100. That's exactly what Southwest is offering if you book between now and Thursday, June 8, at 11:59 p.m. EST, reports Travel+Leisure.
The airline will be offering daily service from Florida's Fort Lauderdale airport to Providenciales, an island in Turks and Caicos, for as low as $59 one-way. This applies to trips scheduled between November 5, 2017, and January 7, 2018, with blackout dates of November 18, December 16, 21, and 22.
And unlike some airlines, Southwest doesn't skimp on perks to compensate for the discount fare; your flight will still include two checked bags and no change fees. The airline is actually offering the discounts in celebration of its new nonstop two-hour flight to Providenciales. From there, you're free to explore the world-famous Grace Bay Beach, scuba-dive among the world's third-largest barrier reef, or even go horseback-riding on the beach.
