“Tomato and watermelon salad! Cut up some watermelon and tomatoes nice and big (duh), mix 3 teaspoons sugar with 1/2 teaspoon salt and sprinkle over the chunks. Let sit while you mix together 1/2 cup red wine vinegar with 1/4 cup olive oil. Drizzle over the watermelon and tomatoes (don't have to use all of it) and add some sliced red onion and feta crumbles or some basil or arugula if you want! Supposed to let sit for an hour but you won't want to oh baby.” — @ChrissyTeigen
“Pecorino pesto - 2 cups basil, 4 cloves garlic, 2/3 cup olive oil, 1/4 pine nuts, 1/2 cup finely grated pecorino, salt and pepper to taste - blend everything but cheese in food processor, fold in cheese when ready to use. “Bacon, spinach, mushrooms, cooked and chopped. Separately, 6 eggs beaten with 1.5 cups heavy cream, seasoned with salt and pepper. Put cooked bacon, mushrooms, spinach and cheese in frozen pie crust of your choice, then top with egg/cream mixture. Bake 35-45 mins. Tips: get all the moisture out of the spinach by heating separately, then chop. Cook bacon and mushrooms to your liking. Chop up nice and small.” — @ChrissyTeigen
“Since you onllllly see the garbage food I eat, here, my go-to life-sucks salad: tuna mixed with red onions and dijon, over spinach, tomato and avocado with lemon-garlic vinaigrette - 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice, 1/2 teaspoon Dijon, 1 clove garlic, 3 tablespoons olive oil, salt and pepper to taste.
