COCOCOZY: Door to Door
Confession: I am Coco of COCOCOZY blog, and I am obsessed with doors. Conventional wisdom says that the most valuable update you can give your home is a kitchen or bath remodel, but I happen to think that a front door upgrade can add a different kind of worth--by making your abode a welcoming and warm environment. The entryway at my little cottage in the Hollywood Hills has undergone several transformations over the years. My door started out yellow (with a black sconce), then I painted it brown, and added a brushed silver light fixture and some white Azaleas in ceramic pots. These days it's a chic glossy black with frosted glass lights flanked by two Boxwood topiaries in charcoal gray stone planters. But there's still the matter of selecting the perfect doormat, which inspired my latest research--complete with inspiration photos--above. Shop my favorite doorway finds below, and stop by my blog to offer your two-cents on which of these welcome mat contenders you think should make the cut.
