Tour the Bright and Collected Home of a Domaine Alum
Interior and prop stylist Peter Dolkas—who also happens to be a Domaine alum and current contributor—recently opened up his Los Angeles home to Naturally, Danny Seo to discuss the art of up-cycling and decorating with found objects and inexpensive finds. The space, a one-bedroom apartment in the trendy Los Feliz neighborhood, is full of an eclectic mix of traditional pieces, California-eclectic accents, and organic shapes and materials.
Dolkas—always one to be resourceful when it comes to sourcing furniture—found the tree stump "side tables" on his way home from work. "I saw a tree has been chopped down so I swerved to the side of the road and threw two stumps in my trunk," he tells us.
In the bedroom an indigo tapestry functions as a stunning headboard while a print from Tappan Collective adds modern appeal.
