You Can Spend a Night in the Eiffel Tower
The most coveted real estate in Paris is officially up for grabs. In a promotion for the upcoming UEFA European Championship (that's soccer, FYI), which is being held in France this summer, HomeAway is converting the Eiffel Tower into the world’s most sought-after apartment.
The monument's 2000 square-foot space, known as the Gustave Eiffel Reception Room, is normally used for a variety of functions. But the popular vacation rental website plans on turning it into a luxurious apartment that sleeps five, with the help of the renowned French interior designer Benoît Leleu.
All potential guests have to do is enter HomeAway’s #EiffelTowerAllYours contest by answering the question: “What would you and your family do if the Eiffel Tower was all yours for a night?”
The four different winners will stay in the tower on either June 23, June 28, July 4, or July 8, and can bring four of their friends along for the occasion, which will include a lavish dinner and stunning panoramic views of the City of Lights.
“We think the Eiffel Tower is the perfect place to make the most unforgettable vacation memories of all,” said HomeAway CEO Brian Sharples. “So many of our travelers fall in love with their vacation rental homes just as much as their vacation destination itself. This is probably the most special ‘home’ we’ve had the privilege of offering in this fun and exciting way.”
The contest ends on May 31.
