Get the Look: Sophisticated Tiki
We know what you're thinking: You already know how to get the tiki look. Just pair a Shag poster with a smattering of Easter Island wood-carved masks, line the walkway to your door with bamboo torches, and call it a day. (And thanks-but-no-thanks--you'll pass, because you're not hosting a Joe Versus the Volcano movie night.) But hear us out: we've put together a Polynesian-inspired collection that demonstrates a more subtle approach to the Trader Vic's school of decorating, from an unexpected bamboo motif such as Thibaut's lattice wallpaper, to a reworked peacock chair in the manner of Anthropologie's unbelievable handwoven throne. And, of course, it doesn't hurt to throw in a little something literal for a party-time accent--because a Mai Tai just doesn't taste like a Mai Tai unless it's served in a totem-inspired glass.
