I recently scoured New York’s coast, from East Hampton to Greenport, following my nose for the best in vintage and antique shopping. If you find yourself in the Hamptons, add these six must-see hot shops to your agenda.
Wyeth Home is the perfect shop to find that certain pièce de résistance to bring your room together. With a higher-end selection of midcentury furniture and accessories and an abundance of Instagrammable moments, this shop is a must-see.
Sag Harbor’s Ruby Beets is the chicest combination of old and new. The store features a variety of antiques mixed in with contemporary art and photography. Think ethereal, washed-out woods mixed with French modernist lighting and crystal accessories. It’s the kind of shop you walk into and want to live in forever.

The Hamptons outpost of this well-known, high-end antique is the embodiment of the traditional mix we love so much about the east side. Mecox keeps this location feeling unique, thanks to its sourcing of local pieces with classic vibes.
Marika’s is where all designers shop for affordable vintage that they will mark up and overcharge you for later. This is one of those fun shopping destinations where you might have to do a little digging, but you’re sure to uncover something awesome.
Laurin Copen Antiques is set in an 18th-century farmhouse with rooms merchandised to perfection. With everything from dutch to the “unusual,” this gorgeously decorated boutique is swoon-worthy, to say the least.
Beall & Bell is the Hamptons’ best-kept secret! The inventory is large and the price points affordable. You could literally outfit an entire home on a budget just from one visit to this must-shop vintage store.
