Hillary Clinton Has Her Own Line of Emoji
Kim Kardashian, Amber Rose, Blac Chyna… Hillary Clinton? The presumptive Democratic presidential nominee has officially joined the ranks of that cabal of reality stars thanks to the introduction of Hillarymoji, a new iOS emoji keyboard that is now available from the iTunes App Store.
It’s important to note that while most celebrities are directly involved with the development of their emoji apps, Clinton has yet to publicly endorse Hillarymoji, which was created by a development house called Tanooki Labs. But, before you have visions of Clinton twerking like so many of her celebrity-turned-emoji counterparts, Hillarymoji are decidedly family-friendlier.
Instead, Clinton’s emojification leans heavily on the patriotism. One emoji finds her dressed as Rosie the Riveter while another has her waving American flags. “With Hillarymoji, it’s easy to show your solidarity for Hillary, support the causes you believe in, and celebrate history in the making,” Tanooki Suit says on its site.
The app is available to download for free and includes a “donate” button that lets users contribute to Clinton’s presidential campaign. The hope is that Hillarymoji helps attract young voters to Team Hillary. “It’s a group she has got to bring over from the Bernie [Sanders] camp,” Tanooki co-founder told CNN. “It’s another tool to the arsenal to help do that.”
