Tuesday at the 2016 Democratic National Convention will go down in history as a day of many firsts. After Hillary Clinton officially became the first female presidential nominee of a major political party, the former secretary of state went on to literally shatter the glass ceiling in a truly moving new video.

The short, one-minute-and-50-second clip depicts the 43 men who have served as president in a PowerPoint-like scroll, ending with a live stream of Clinton herself, bursting through shards of animated glass to a roar of applause.

The camera then pans to the audience, whose applause, smiles, and tears of joy are enough to make even the most politically apathetic of constituents crack a smile. Between this and Michelle Obama's moving endorsement speech on Monday, the 2016 Democratic National Convention is shaping up to be one for the history books.

Watch the moving new video below, and then share your reaction to Hillary Clinton's video statement.
