Yes, Really: Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet Want to Take You to Dinner
This December marks the 20th anniversary of the cinematic masterpiece that is Titanic, as well as the dawn of our undying love for Leonardo DiCaprio. To celebrate, co-stars DiCaprio and Kate Winslet are taking one lucky fan to dinner at a New York City restaurant of their choice, reports Harper's Bazaar.
Interested parties can bid on the exclusive outing at this year's annual auction gala held by the Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation, which takes place tomorrow, Wednesday, July 26, in St. Tropez, France. All proceeds will benefit DiCaprio's organization, which supports animals and the environment, as well Team Gemma, a GoFundMe page that Winslet vehemently supports for a UK woman diagnosed with cancer.
While we assume the winner will shell out a large chunk of change for the private outing (a sum that we definitely cannot rustle up in under 24 hours, never mind our lack of an invite), there's no harm in daydreaming about what it'd be like to dine with the pair. The two have remained close friends since the 1997 release and even gave Titanic fans a pang of nostalgia at last year's Oscars ceremony (pictured above). It's safe to assume the private outing will top any red carpet appearance for the lucky fan.
