People Are Losing It Over a $20 "Miracle" Lotion That Cures Insomnia

If you've ever experienced a restless night, you'll know that when insomnia takes hold, you'll do almost anything to sink into a deep, dreamless slumber. And while we know that taking a long Epsom salt bath can help you wind down before bed, Kidspot suggests that there's a faster way to fall asleep.

The parenting website calls out Lush Cosmetics Sleepy body lotion as the "holy grail for tired parents." It might sound like an overstatement, but customers are so obsessed with this sleep-inducing product that 99% of the 149 online reviewers said they'd recommend it—and they've even taken to Reddit to spread the word.

"As someone with incurable and not-so-common chronic illnesses, which result in chronic pain and insomnia, Sleepy lotion is the one product that can help me through the worst of my nights," one user writes. Another adds, "I have been using my small pot from Christmas sparingly—only when I'm stressed or I'm having trouble falling asleep."

According to the Lush website, Sleepy contains a medley of naturally soothing ingredients, including oatmeal, almond oil, and lavender oil. The brand's directions: "Slather on this gorgeous pale purple lotion, breathe in its sweet, comforting lavender and tonka perfume and you'll instantly feel at ease." Yes, if the reviews are to be believed, this lotion could mark the end of restless nights.
