The First-Ever Mamas Making It Summit Celebrated Inspiring Women

Dacy Knight

Last Saturday, women gathered for Fashion Mamas's first-ever Mamas Making It Summit at the W Hollywood hotel in Los Angeles. The sold-out event had a guest list of over 130 entrepreneurial mothers and featured a panel of 17 speakers, along with a surprise appearance by actress, activist, and entrepreneur Jaime King, who spoke of the importance of support in the motherhood space. Natalie Alcala, the founder of Fashion Mamas, an exclusive members-only network for influential mothers, has made it a part of her mission to dispel the myth that women have to choose between having a successful career and being a good mother.

In addition to taking in the inaugural #MamasMakingIt panel series on how women in various fields balance their impressive careers and motherhood, guests enjoyed partner stations featuring Spiritual Gangster, True Botanicals, and even a MyDomaine-designed lounge space created exclusively for the occasion. Missed the event? You can still purchase digital tickets for access to the private Mamas Making It Summit Facebook Group, where you can watch seven videos of the event's inspiring panels from Jaime King to Australian supermodel and designer Nicole Trunfio to Clique Media Group's Melanie Bender, our executive director of brand marketing.
