Marc Jacobs's Interior Designer Just Made Lunchboxes REALLY Cool
What happens when an interior designer tries his hand at children's illustrations? Adorable results, that's what. Interior designer John Gachot—famous for decorating Marc Jacobs's townhouse, Tumblr founder David Karp's Williamsburg apartment, Tribeca's Smyth Hotel, and the Bottega Veneta and Gucci offices—loves to create "doodles" for his sons' school lunchboxes. While Boris, 13 and Jackie, 8, were always "delighted to receive them," the surprise notes were also a big hit with other parents. In celebration of the back-to-school season, Gachot created 13 illustrated notes for T Magazine. Scroll down to see a few of our favorites.
