Step Inside Michael Phelps's $2.5 Million Arizona Home
The end of the Rio Olympics signals the official move-in date for swimming legend Michael Phelps and his blossoming family. After purchasing a brand-new piece of Scottsdale, Arizona, real estate for $2.5 million back in December 2015, Phelps and his fiancée, Nicole Johnson, hired designer Henry Mohrschladt to build their five-bedroom, six-and-a-half–bathroom dream home. While Arizona may seem like a random choice for someone whose life revolves around water, Phelps is reportedly training with Arizona-based coach Bob Bowman and working with the Arizona State University swim team, according to Trulia. With the picturesque Camelback Mountains sitting in the background, Phelps’s 6010-square-foot estate features four fireplaces, custom light fixtures, top-of-the-line kitchen appliances, an outdoor living area, and a resort-style swimming pool fit for the Olympic athlete.
