Inside a Model's Cool, Kid-Friendly L.A. Home

Motherhood is a varied journey for every woman. Just ask digital influencer and new mom Chriselle Lim of The Chriselle Factor, who told MyDomaine that having a baby is “possibly the hardest and most exhaustive thing” but also the most rewarding. Model mom and handbag designer Lauren Hastings completely concurs with this statement, but her journey comes with an unexpected twist.

Just 26 weeks into her pregnancy, Hastings went into labor with her daughter, Monroe, after a prenatal massage. “I was scared, I was sad, I was terrified, I was angry,” she told The Grace Tales. “I was every emotion all at once, but I was strong, I was her protector; I was her mother.” Now Monroe is a happy and healthy 2-year-old with an inspiring lust for life, and the duo’s mother-daughter bond is a force to be reckoned with. Ahead, Hastings shows us through her vintage-inspired Los Angeles home with a kid-friendly vibe.
