Inside the Opulent $85 Million Chateau That Gigi Hadid's Father Built

While his supermodel daughters are known for strutting the runways of the fashion elite, Mohamed Hadid is a world-renowned luxury real estate developer with a flair for the opulent. Case in point: the stately, French-inspired Bel Air chateau, known as Le Belvédère, that Hadid developed himself. A regular backdrop in episodes of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, the 10-bedroom, 14-bathroom, 14-fireplace estate is back on the market for $85 million.

The sheer size of the place is perhaps its most astonishing feature; with a screening room, a grand ball room, a 5000-bottle wine cellar, an infinity pool, an elevator, and more, the chateau sits on 2.2 acres of land and covers a full 35,000 square feet. Hadid reportedly sold the mansion for $50 million back in 2010, but the new owners never bothered to move in. Instead, Mohamed Hadid and partner Shiva Safai have been renting the home for the past six years.

Tour the otherworldly home for yourself, and share your thoughts on its opulence below.
