Inside an Oscars-Inspired L.A. Wedding That Cost $10 Million

We thought we'd seen it all when it comes to extravagant weddings. From the $1 million wedding dress of a Swarovski heiress to a sea of white roses at an Iranian model's nuptials, it seems like every week a new luxury event takes place that makes our jaws drop to the floor. This week: a $10 million wedding extravaganza that was inspired by the Oscars.

Lolita Osmana, the 22-year-old daughter of a Russian oligarch, and Gaspar Avdolyan, the 29-year-old son of a telecoms millionaire, tied the knot in a no-expense-spared event in Los Angeles. Insider reports that the weekend event was arguably more lavish than the Academy Awards, with performances by Lady Gaga and Jason Derulo.

Guests were treated to a red carpet arrival, complete with a violin performance, as they ascended the staircase of the Dolby Theatre, where the wedding was held. It's believed the pair spent roughly $500,000 on flowers, which hung from set-like archways and statement table centerpieces.
