When Nate Berkus spills his advice for living a better, more beautiful life, we're all ears. In anticipation of his newest collection of home goods for Target, which launched online and in stores today, Berkus spoke with Architectural Digest about New Year's resolutions and design trends for 2017.

Berkus admits he's not a fan of resolutions but he does encourage refreshing and upgrading your space for the New Year. "It might be as simple as a new paint color or new wall art. I love all the mirrors in this collection, and the woven baskets for storage," he says. As for the biggest trends he sees in store for 2017, Berkus reminds us that "it's all about living with what you love—with what best represents who you are. I love the natural elements and the fresh take on wovens and colors as we go into the New Year." Where to start? "My hope is, even if it's just one piece, you'll love how it changes the room," Berkus says.

Consistent with the coveted offerings of his past collaborations with Target, Berkus's new collection has all the pieces one needs to upgrade any space. The stylish line adds instant elegance and sophistication to any home through well-curated pieces from throw pillows to tabletop accessories to statement accent tables. "I want people to live beautifully in their homes," Berkus says, "even if it's just one piece you're adding."
