Step Into a Young Designer's Approachable Toronto Apartment
Designer Natalie Chong of Nest Design Studio recently opened up her home to The Everygirl and shared her tips for decorating as a couple, where to score chic, budget-friendly furnishings, and where to splurge and where to save when decorating. We love the look into this real, approachable space and how Chong has taken some classic pieces and added her own spin and personality as seen in the upholstery of the Louis-style lounge chairs and burnt orange ottoman. Scroll through our slideshow for a peek into this très chic space.
"My sofa and side chairs were expensive, but I will take them with me wherever I go, and reupholster them over and over again," Chong told The Everygirl.
"I don’t buy expensive accessories because I change my mind every season," the designer said.
"I love my plants and boxwood—small accents that are budget friendly," says Chong. "They add such life to a place that could be so monochromatic and boring."
