Before and After: The Colorful Office of Oh Joy!
While recently touring some other colorful rooms, we were reminded of this fun before and after look at the studio space of one of our favorite lifestyle blogs. When business woman and blogger extraordinaire Joy Cho of Oh Joy! grew out of her home office, she turned to friend and interior designer Emily Henderson for help with the decor of her new 1,200 square foot studio. The space, which is graced with charming details like exposed brick and vaulted ceilings with wood beams, was the perfect blank slate for Henderson's fun and punchy style. After collaborating, the pair's resulting space is a fresh, fun workplace punctuated with special details like a custom toe kick in the office kitchen and a custom wood and neon lucite mobile which gracefully floats over their main conference table. A combination of dolled up Ikea finds (how about the hardware on those Pax Wardrobes?) and vintage pieces, the space reflects the aesthetic of Oh Joy! perfectly. With designated lounging, dining, meeting, and working spaces, we're ready to move right in. To see more photos of the studio, head to Oh Joy! Photographs: Zeke Ruelas
