One Kings Lane’s New Brick-and-Mortar Store Is Divine
Following in the footsteps of e-commerce sensations like Nasty Gal and Warby Parker, One Kings Lane now has a brick-and-mortar store, and we couldn’t be more excited. Co-founders Susan Feldman and Alison Pincus opened the sprawling mecca of interior design on the eighth floor of their Manhattan office building, and the space is unlike anything we’ve ever seen. “I wasn’t interested in opening a traditional retail store,” Feldman told The Cut. “I wanted to create a space that would allow people to feel our brand and at the same time give people guidance in their design journey.”
Feldman has achieved just that. OKL specialists are on hand to offer shoppers complimentary consulting services. The expertly curated design vignettes that One Kings Lane publishes online are often so perfect that they become a little intimidating to re-create.
Studio staffers help clients demystify the design process and incorporate the delightfully inviting One Kings Lane aesthetic into their homes. With free shipping on all studio purchases, we’re finding it hard to edit our wish list!
