Pillow Production in a Portland Studio

Peter Dolkas

It's no secret that Schoolhouse Electric has been our go to source for retro-industrial lighting for a while now. However, now their  furniture and décor is tempting us just the same. Our favorite items are perhaps their throw pillows,  which they collaborated on with artist and screen-printer Kate Troyer. The collaboration yielded some appropriately organic patterns, as you can see Mt. Hood and all it's natural glory outside Troyer's Portland studio on a clear day. Here we take a glimpse into that enviable light-filled studio and the process of making these pillows, which start at $68.
