Take a Peek Inside Prada’s First-Ever Pastry Shop

Dana Covit

When we imagine our own little slice of heaven, it may or may not involve Milanese fashions and a spread of sweet treats. You too? We’re all in luck then. In March of last year, Prada became a majority shareholder of the historical pastry shop Pasticceria Marchesi, one of Milan’s most iconic cafés, and this week, the first new Pasticceria Marchesi opens its doors. Located on the luxury street Via Montenapoleone in the heart of Milan, the shop was a collaboration between Prada and the founding family who opened shop almost 200 years ago, ensuring a certain authenticity (with a generous helping of luxury, of course). Scroll now to see inside the shop’s doors—it’s a dream.
