Rodarte's New Rug Collection Is Pure Magic

Dana Covit

Beloved and lauded by the fashion industry for their wholly unique, oft-ethereal aesthetic and knack for visual storytelling, Kate and Laura Mulleavy of Rodarte have turned their expert design eye toward home décor. In collaboration with The Rug Company, the dynamic Los Angeles-based duo have created a capsule collection of five rugs featuring ornate, entrancing patterns that evoke couture fashions. In creating the collection of hand-knotted Tibetan wool rugs, the sisters drew inspiration from a wide variety of sources: Death Valley's scorched landscape, classical blue-and-white porcelain vessels, and fairytale-esque medieval romance, to name a few. The rugs are available for purchase at The Rug Company with prices beginning at $1845 and promise to add an element of the fantastical to any interior. Check out the designs by scrolling now!
