Inside a Style Blogger's Insanely Chic Office Makeover
It's fair to say we're obsessed with productivity hacks at MyDomaine HQ. Time is such a precious commodity that anywhere we can save it, we will. While science suggests there are several ways to boost your capacity at work, we believe a lackluster workspace is the biggest culprit for a lapse in efficiency. This is especially relevant for those who work from home, which was why style blogger Cara Loren tapped Joss & Main to make over hers in Salt Lake City. We're in love with the boho midcentury vibe and fun colors—the velvet sofa is everything. "My absolute favorite pieces would have to be the sofa and hanging chair," she told MyDomaine. "They are the pieces that make the room fun, and that emerald green stole my heart immediately."
As a working mom, Loren also needed the stylish space to be kid-friendly, which she agrees is "a hard thing to master" but totally necessary. "I always have a couple pieces in my rooms that I know are a little iffy for my kids, but I try my hardest to teach them that there are certain pieces that are only to look at," she continued. "Now, this obviously doesn't work all the time, especially with a 2-year-old, so if you are going to have pieces like that in a room you have to be okay if something happens to them, haha." If this is kid-friendly, we're on board.
