This Swedish Home Gives Us a Lesson in Masculine Elegance
If you haven't noticed yet, we here at MyDomaine HQ (and yours truly, in particular) have a soft spot for minimalist, monochromatic rooms (see Exhibit A and Exhibit B here.) So it's no surprise that we've fallen hard for the Scandinavian interiors due to their clean lines and bright, white interiors. It's why when we came across this bold, masculine, and texture-rich space in Residence magazine—and found ourselves drawn to it—we knew this was a game-changer. In contrast to the typically bright Nordic homes we're accustomed to, homeowner Walter Naeslund played with darker hues and daring materials to dial up the macho touch. The founder of Honest advertising agency clearly has a penchant for iconic design and the volume of classic pieces is proof. From the covetable Flos lighting to the Arne Norell lounge chair, this home has all the quintessential brands we love. It just may have converted our minimalist ways. Scroll down to see why this moody space has us mesmerized.
