Inside a Taiwanese Fun House With a Dark Palette

Julia Millay Walsh

To any of you who struggle with imposing your young-at-heart spirit upon your interiors while maintaining an air of maturity, look no further than this Taiwanese apartment designed by Taminn Design. Abiding its clients to create an industrial space infused with color, the design firm integrated an unusual mix of styles—from French to country to industrial—and customized finishes like the big barn door and tough concrete walls. The result, featured on Yatzer, looks a bit like a cool Silicon Valley startup, thanks to its proper office space and large communal bar. It also has all the comforts of home, including a deep, cushy sofa and an enviable walk-in closet. We can’t say it’s our style to a T, but we’d love to stay in this space for the weekend. Scroll below for a tour.
