Target is urgently recalling almost 180,000 dressers, amid concerns that the products pose a serious safety risk to young children. The Consumer Product Safety Commission has received 12 reports "of dressers tipping or collapsing, including tipping over on two 3-year-old children," the Huffington Post reports.

The basic four-drawer dresser is part of Target's budget Room Essentials line and comes in Black, Espresso, and Maple. CPSC says the "recalled dressers are unstable if they are not anchored to the wall, posing serious tip-over and entrapment hazards that can result in death or injuries to children."

The dressers closely resemble IKEA's Malm dresser, which killed three toddlers. The incidents prompted IKEA to recall 27 million units and sparked its "Secure It" campaign, urging customers to use anchors to prevent the dresser from tipping.

If you own Target's Room Essentials four-drawer dresser, the CPSC urges you to stop using it if it's not properly anchored to the wall. You can return the dressers to any Target store for a full refund.
