How to Plan the Most Over-the-Top Valentine’s Day Proposal

Katie Sweeney

When it comes to wedding proposals, anything goes. Some men prefer to propose in the privacy of their own homes, while other guys go all-out, creating an elaborate scheme (that’s later shared on social media) to pop the question. With Valentine’s Day coming up, some men might be wondering how to propose. If money isn’t an issue, you could head to Las Vegas and let the lovely folks at the Trump International Hotel take care of everything for you. The hotel is currently offering the most over-the-top proposal package ever: For $620,000, you can really make it a day to remember.

Here’s what the package entails. It starts with a private jet whisking you off to Vegas. Once there, you’ll head to Bellusso Jewelers, where an expert team will be waiting to help you choose (or design) the perfect diamond engagement ring. Next, a Rolls-Royce will drive you to DJT, the restaurant at the Trump tower, for a custom dinner prepared by chef Sydney L. Jones. The menu will include Italian porcini mushroom risotto with white Alba truffles, which pairs with a $7000 bottle of Armand de Brignac Brut Gold Champagne. Sound decadent? Just wait until you hear about the room!

The 3000-square-foot penthouse bedroom, which offers stunning views of Vegas, will be filled with rose petals, chocolate, and Champagne. An onsite photographer will be on hand to document the entire thing so you can share your extravagant proposal all over Facebook. It’s unknown whether the presidential candidate had anything to do with this hotel package, but it’s fun to think that he might be behind the lavish proposal.

Heading to Vegas soon? You’ll need a sequined skirt!

What is your ideal proposal?
