The One Skincare Essential Victoria Beckham Won't Board an Airplane Without
Having been in the spotlight since the tender age of 20, it's safe to say that famed Spice Girl and fashion designer Victoria Beckham knows a thing or two about skincare. "The older I get, the more my skin settles down," she recently told Into the Gloss. "Over time, you learn what works for you. At this point, I've done so many photoshoots and red carpets that I've learned so much about my beauty style by looking back at pictures of myself."
The designer sat down with the beauty publication to discuss her new skincare collaboration with Esteé Lauder, revealing a few of her go-to products in the process. The conversation quickly turned to travel, which obviously presents some of the toughest skincare challenges of all.
"The airplane air is so horrific," she deadpanned. "When I'm traveling, I make sure to take off my makeup, cleanse my face, and then cover myself in the Sarah Chapman Stem Cell Collagen Activator Duo. The serum comes in these little vials with the dropper separately. Once you're ready to use it, you break the seal and shake it to activate. I make sure to put it on my neck and around my eyes as well."
Once the plane has landed, Beckham reaches for her own line's Morning Aura, which was inspired by her 12-hour flights from London to Los Angeles, which are usually welcomed by the paparazzi. "I need[ed] a product that [was] going to hydrate, moisturize, lift, give a glowy, dewy feel about it … something that's going to make me photo-ready," she explains. "That's how we came up with Morning Aura. It's a primer—I use it with powder—but it's also great on its own as a skincare product."
