For Real: This Is What a $1 Million Wedding Dress Looks Like

Kelsey Clark

It's safe to say that slipping into a seven-figure garment of any kind is a far-off fantasy for most. But for 23-year-old Victoria Swarovski, heiress to the Austrian crystal empire, it was just one detail of her three-day Italian fairytale wedding. As Town and Country reports, Swarovski wed longtime boyfriend Werner Mürz in Trieste, Italy, this past weekend wearing a custom Michael Cinco gown during the nuptials valued at $1 million.

Naturally, the princess-style dress was encrusted with 500,000 Swarovski crystals in addition to paillettes, laser-cut flowers, and an almost 20-foot train. The couple tied the knot at the hallowed Cathedral of San Giusto in the presence of 250 of their closest friends and family members before heading to the five-star resort of Hotel Falisia to celebrate afterward. There, the guests were treated to a five-tier wedding cake, a fireworks display, and a long evening of drinks and dancing.
