Take 1: If you're in an end-of-summer work slump

It's Virgo season, which means it's the perfect astrological time to shift your mentality and channel your inner boss. In this seasonal time of productivity, practicality, and strength, the Virgo woman is a veritable master at list-making, organizing, and generally slaying any goal she sets for herself (Beyoncé's a Virgo, so you know it's true). Here's how to make the most of August 23 to September 22.

Take 2: If your daughter keeps talking about body image

Kourtney Kardashian has some strong opinions on how to raise a confident, independent daughter. The mother of three chastised her mom, Kris Jenner, in a recent episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, asking her not to say the word fat around 4-year-old Penelope. “They say if a mother is confident about her body, that the daughters are way more likely to not have eating disorders,” says Kardashian.

Take 3: If your Netflix queue is getting a little stale

Fortunately, there are 43 new movies and TV shows coming to Netflix this September, including The Walking Dead, New Girl, the full Gotham series, Narcos season two, and more. Check out the full list of newcomers over at PopSugar.

Take 4: If you're an Android person and proud

It turns out your choice of smartphone says more about your personality than you may think. According to a recent study presented at the British Psychological Society’s annual conference, Android users are perceived as having higher levels of “honesty, humility, agreeableness, openness, and introversion” than iPhone users.

Take 5: If you prefer to take your coffee with brunch

Big news: Starbucks is testing out its first-ever weekend brunch at 78 locations throughout Portland and Seattle. While no decisions have been made regarding expansion, we’re thrilled about the prospect of enjoying our morning Chile Mocha with a side of baked french toast, thank you very much.

This blackberry cocktail from Brit+Co is the perfect creepy concoction to serve at any adult Halloween party.
