3 Things Millennials Love Spending Their Money On
We recently reported on the somewhat surprising finding that millennials are flocking to the suburbs as they near age 30, much like the generations that came before them. Wanting to own a home is a main incentive for leaving forbidding urban centers in favor of the suburbs, but with debt and loans to pay off, it’s not easy. Even still, millennials do spend money, and Business Insider investigated what exactly they’re spending money on most.
If you’re familiar with the general wisdom that millennials depend on technology and experiences, this will all line up. According to Business Insider, millennials spend their money heavily in three categories: Uber or other ride-sharing services, cell phones and small everyday tech, and a bit of a curveball: makeup.
