Inside a Swedish Artist’s Creative Home With Dark Accents
For those of us who admire the life of an artist, this home gives you the chance to see inside. Swedish creative Ylva Skarp swapped her paintbrush for a drawing board when she converted this 100-year-old school into a beautiful home. Located in the lush surrounds of Hjortnäs, Sweden, the space is layered to perfection with warm wood notes on a mostly monochromatic background. We love the signature eclectic yet minimal look that the Swedes do oh so well. Scroll down to see more of this space through photos by Kristofer Johnsson for Residence.
