We started MyDomaine in 2013 because, like you, we’re dedicated to living our best lives at home, whether that means trying out the latest trends, making our spaces as Instagrammable as possible, having our friends and family over for an epic dinner party (which, coincidentally is the perfect way to show off your interiors), or just searching for that one accessory that will finally complete our décor dreams. We've since grown into a top home design site that reaches over 3 million users each month.

The MyDomaine Team
Prior to joining Dotdash in 2018, Mélanie was the Chief Editorial Director of Thought Catalog, where she led all content initiatives and managed strategic partnerships.
Mélanie has 15 years of experience creating, managing, and publishing lifestyle content across platforms. She has worked as a producer and writer for brands including MTV, Vanity Fair, Elle, New York Magazine, The Atlantic, Cosmopolitan, Salon, Esquire, and iHeartRadio.
She earned a B.A. in Political Economy from Georgetown University.
Emily is the Editorial and Strategy Director for MyDomaine, The Spruce, The Spruce Pets, and The Spruce Crafts.
She has been with Dotdash since 2016. Emily was a part of the team that launched the original Spruce site in 2017. She began at Dotdash as an Editor before transitioning to the Growth and Strategy team where she operated as an SEO Manager for the MyDomaine and The Spruce brands and several others.
Bridget has been working in digital media with a focus on design and décor for over seven years, and has been with MyDomaine since 2019.
Prior to joining MyDomaine, Bridget was the design editor at Apartment Therapy where she oversaw coverage of decorating, design, and home trends. Before that, she honed her décor expertise as the online editor for HGTV Magazine and assistant web editor for Elle Decor and Veranda magazines. She’s also covered general lifestyle topics for More, Glitter Guide and The Huffington Post. Bridget graduated with a B.S. in Journalism from Ohio University, and lives in Astoria, Queens.
Amy joined the Dotdash team as Design Director for MyDomaine, The Spruce, The Spruce Pets, and The Spruce Crafts in March 2021. She leads the design of both sites and develops brand visuals of digital and physical products. She is a passionate home decor enthusiast.
Prior to joining Dotdash Amy was the Art Director for Insider Studios, the branded content team for Business Insider and Insider where she designed for numerous legacy brands such as Cartier, Chase, Lincoln, and United.
Caroline has been with MyDomaine since 2019.
Prior to MyDomaine, she worked in editorial for the home departments of Good Housekeeping, Woman’s Day, and Redbook magazines on both print and digital content, covering everything from the latest decor trends to the best cleaning hacks. She also spent time freelancing for Martha Stewart Weddings. Caroline received a B.A. in journalism and leadership studies from the University of Richmond and lives in New York City.
Kate is a Senior Editor for MyDomaine and has been at Dotdash since July 2019. She currently oversees content focused around remodeling, home how-tos, cleaning, and design. She assigns, publishes, and manages articles, ensuring that the content is accurate, up-to-date on the latest trends, and appealing to the MyDomaine readers.
She previously worked as a contributing writer for POPSUGAR and as a digital content marketer for small businesses. Her writing has also appeared on The Spruce, MyDomaine, and Stacker.
Kate studied art history at the University of Guelph and got her Master of Arts in Journalism at the University of Western Ontario.
Mia is the Associate Editor at MyDomaine. She previously covered home décor and luxury lifestyle as an editorial intern at Unique Homes Magazine. Past articles of hers were featured on NJ.com, Bay Magazine, and the blog of New York Women in Communications.
She graduated magna cum laude from The College of New Jersey with a degree in journalism and professional writing, marketing, and creative writing in the spring of 2020.
Jane Kim is an Associate Editor at MyDomaine and has covered an array of topics in lifestyle, fashion, and beauty. She earned a B.A. in English from Stony Brook University.
Before MyDomaine, Jane was an avid writer and editor for digital publications like The Odyssey Online and Trill! Magazine. She has covered an array of topics in beauty, fashion, politics, lifestyle, and continues to create content that thoughtfully resonates with readers.
Jamie is the Editorial Project Manager for MyDomaine, The Spruce, The Spruce Pets, and The Spruce Crafts. Jamie is an organization pro, having worked in higher education for seven years.
Before joining The Spruce Crafts team, Jamie worked as a consultant with individuals and nonprofit organizations. Her work consisted of helping immigrants and first-generation high school students pursue higher education. As a multilingual writer and translator, she continues to aid underserved communities. At MyDomaine, Jamie manage's our Diversity and Anti-Bias initiatives, as well as works to help make sure all of our content is accurate through Fact Checking.
Before joining MyDomaine and The Spruce in 2020, Emma was Social Media Manager at Apartment Therapy where she led their organic social initiatives and ran their social advertising campaigns. Emma loves organized spreadsheets, good puns, and colorful interiors. In addition to her work for Apartment Therapy, she has also written for PureWow, Spoon University, The Kitchn, and PUNCH.
As Senior Social Editor, Emma curates home and lifestyle content across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest and more. She is a seasoned audience development professional with 4+ years of community management and social media experience in the lifestyle space.
Jalesa Campbell is an Associate Social Media Editor for The Spruce and MyDomaine. She curates home and lifestyle content across Pinterest, Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok. Prior to joining Dotdash, Jalesa covered home security and safety-related topics as a writer for Safety.com.
She has 5+ years of experience creating digital content across several industries. She holds an M.A. in Communication from Queens University of Charlotte and a B.A. in English from Claflin University.
Amy has been the visual editor at MyDomaine since 2019.
As MyDomaine's visual editor, Amy has worked to foster industry relationships with designers and photographers that contribute to the visual identity of the site. She also upholds the integrity of photo rights. Previously, Amy worked for magazines including Good Housekeeping, Woman’s Day, House Beautiful, Esquire and more producing shoots and conducting photo research. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising from LIM College.
