Few items can be as transformative as a quality rug—it can cover dated floorboards, imbue a room with instant personality, and visually segment an open-plan space. Unfortunately, beautiful vintage rugs usually come at a price. Or, at least, that’s what we believed before discovering Revival Rugs.

The direct-to-consumer rug retailer fills a huge gap in the market. “We started Revival Rugs because we felt that a one-of-a-kind rug shouldn’t cost a month’s rent,” co-founder Ben explains on the website. “Everywhere we looked for a rug—whether in person or online—there was a general lack of transparency, unreasonable prices, and poor-quality, machine-made replicas. We didn’t have the money to spend thousands on the handmade rugs we loved, but we also didn’t want to settle for something inferior.” And so the startup was born.

So do the products actually live up to the hype? The reviews are overwhelmingly positive. One buyer wrote, “Almost impossible to believe—It looks exactly like the picture. Fits the description perfectly and came sooner than promised. Who does exactly what they promise anymore? Thank you, Revival.” Consider us sold. Shop a few of our favorite finds below and hurry—they’re all one-of-a-kind, so they won’t last for long.
