When it came time for former Bachelorette star Ali Fedotowsky to redecorate her home in Studio City, California, she paid particular attention to one room. "Most people say the kitchen is the heart of the home but let’s face it, when you have a newborn and a two-year-old you’re not spending a ton of time cooking," she says on her website. "Most of my time is spent on the couch nursing my son and trying to distract/occupy my daughter," so naturally the family room was a focal point.
Fedotowsky and her husband, Kevin Manno, teamed up with Wayfair and interior designer Veronica Valencia to create their ideal family home. With a bright color palette, plenty of natural light, and modern farmhouse-inspired touches, there's no doubt the family will love it for years to come.
"I really wanted the space to feel cozy and inviting. But, at the same time, I wanted a white couch!" she says. To make the living room feel inviting, Valencia added rustic farmhouse décor, such as an oversize clock, ceramic vases, and a wood coffee table. "[We] decorated around it for everything to feel more cozy," says Fedotowsky.
