A New York Transplant's Quaint English Farm

AmandaBrooks2 Todd Selby of the Guardian recently paid a visit to the Oxfordshire farm of Amanda Brooks and shared the photos in his ongoing series The Selby. Fashion writer and former fashion director at Barney's New York, Brooks surprised many when she moved with her family from the hustle and bustle of New York City to the picturesque British countryside. Amanda Brooks1 Previously a vacation home for the brood, which includes young children Coco and Zach, Amanda and her artist husband Christopher relocated full time to the farm, which is owned by her husband's parents, to focus on family and enjoy the unique pleasures a country lifestyle can offer. AmandaBrooks3 The photo series gives a unique glimpse into the family's new life including images of Christopher's studio, the stables were the avid equestrians care for their horses, and of course, shots of the interiors which are filled with the cozy sense of family which attracted the Brooks' to relocate in the first case.
