This Is Where Everyone Will Want to Work in 2018, According to Glassdoor

by Christie Calucchia

Glassdoor just released its annual list of the best places to work, and you'll want to consult the rankings before you consider your next career move. This year, the number one company to work for is Facebook. It's the third time the digital giant has been awarded the title of Best Place to Work by Glassdoor and the eighth time it's made the list in the last 10 years, Fast Company reports.

The career site ranked 100 large companies out of more than 700,000 employers on the site. Without a nomination process or fee to enter, winners are determined based on employee feedback on Glassdoor over the past year. This is measured by company reviews that ask employers to rate and review their company based on job and workplace attributes and qualitative feedback. Users share things like why others would want to join the company and what could use improvement.

Facebook likely took the title once again due to the company's notable perks like free food, onsite health and dental centers, laundry services, and generous paternal leave. According to Glassdoor, Facebook employees value working with innovative people, having unique career opportunities, and being able to grow with a team. Facebook aside, here are the companies named as some of the best places to work in 2018:

  • Bain & Company
  • Boston Consulting Group
  • In-N-Out Burger
  • Google
  • Lululemon
  • HubSpot
  • World Wide Technology
  • St. Jude Children's Research Hospital
  • Ultimate Software
