Life flies by faster and faster with each passing year, and some of the greatest memories you'll make as a parent are the precious time you spend with your children. Kids grow up fast, and the time when they're young is fleeting. Memories are made of the adventures you have together—whether it's abroad or in your very own background—and the precious moments that occur day to day while you're experiencing the simple joys in life.

When considering fun things to do with kids, the options are endless. You can take your little humans on so many of the same excursions you enjoy and also craft experiences specially made for them. Indoors, outdoors, saving, or splurging, there are so many ways to spend quality time with your kids while they're still young. In addition to listing some of our favorite activities when spending time with little ones, we crowdsourced answers from real mothers who are members of MyDomaine Moms, our supportive and inclusive Facebook community for busy, modern mothers to connect.

We don't limit them to activities "for children." We hold them in high regard and take them to the same events and activities that we attend. They've been to art museums, symphony performances, and theater. Of course, we remove them immediately if they become disruptive, but since they've been exposed to these opportunities from infancy, they have a good understanding the behavioral expectations and are delighted and entertained each time.
